Solar Drift is a free, browser-based space exploration game. This Privacy Policy explains what information, if any, is processed when you play. Our approach is minimal: the game is built to function without collecting personal information from players.

Solar Drift requires no account, login, name, location, or any personally identifying details. No payment information is collected because the game is entirely free. No gameplay data, scores, mission logs, or session information is transmitted to any server we operate.
Automatically Collected Technical Data
Our hosting infrastructure may automatically log standard technical details — such as browser type, operating system, referring URL, and time of access — when your browser loads the page. This data is used only to diagnose technical issues and is not linked to individual visitors.
Session Storage and Cookies
Solar Drift uses in-memory browser storage only to hold temporary game state (your ship position, score, and fragment count) during an active session. This data is cleared when you close the tab. We set no persistent cookies and use no cross-site tracking technology.
Third-Party Services
The game loads typography from Google Fonts. When your browser requests these files, Google may log the request under its own privacy practices. We use no advertising networks, analytics services, or social media tracking of any kind.
Children
Solar Drift is suitable for all ages. Because we collect no personal information from anyone, nothing is collected from children either. No registration is required to launch a mission or explore the nebula grid.
Security
As we store no personal data on our servers, the risk to your personal information through Solar Drift is negligible. The site is served over HTTPS to protect any data in transit.
Changes to This Policy
If our data practices change materially, we will update this page and revise the effective date. Continued use of Solar Drift after any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
